Broken signum!

So annoying! While taking some photographs I managed to snap one of my signums.

I had nothing to lose so I decided to drill each part, pin and superglue. So far, so good ...

The signum was not lost ...

    same theing happened to me while clipping from the sprue. Pinned it and its all good.

    Hi Larry

    The drill bit was 0.3mm ... which I also snapped :-( so I used part of it to pin the plastic part :-)

    Forgot to ask... what type of pin vise/drill are you using? Where did you get it? Those are some tiny tiny drill bits!!

    The pin vice is an X-acto one that I seem to have had forever. The drill bits are from these guys:

    ... but I'm getting bored of the breakages and am wondering if there are any stronger bits available ...
